Super dope and crisp! I�m glad I went with the purchase. Nice and sturdy. Doesn�t move around in the lap either. Worth the money ???.
I love the design of the stick, great layout, storage compartments with thumb screw doors, the nonslip rubber underneath, and just very comfortable to use. With SF6 around the corner, my old stick (Etokki Omni) not PS5 compatible, and no next gen Brooks converter in sight it was time to upgrade. My only complaints about the Obsidian 2 are 1) I'm used to playing on bat tops and the bat top this thing comes with doesn't stay tight, it quickly becomes loose and wobbly and so after tightening it a few times I wound up just putting the ball top back on it and forcing myself to get used to ball tops. And a much lesser complaint is 2) the nice glossy top plate/cover looks nice fresh out the box but after playing on it for a couple days now that thing doesn't stay clean, it's an oil/fingerprint magnet
The buttons are perfectly spaced and placed, the stick is in a comfortable position, it isn�t too heavy and the rubber bottom keeps it in place without discomfort. However it is a bit of a hassle getting the cable in and out of its spot. I think I�d have liked it better if it was similar to the original Obsidian where it was in a cable box and came out easy, but other than that it feels great.
I love the Obsidian 2! It is overall a masterfully crafted arcade stick. The joystick is smooth, and is surprisingly silent. The buttons are extremely responsive and accurate, allowing for combos to be performed much, much more reliably. The weight of the stick is hefty, which overall just makes the stick feel quality built unlike other cheaply made products. You can set the stick on a sofa and try to push it, and it will not move due to the bottom material, which is wonderful. Also, the stick is extremely aesthetically pleasing; The design is simple, yet the beauty of the stick lies in its simplicity. It�s not trying to be something it�s not. The only nitpick of the stick I have is the top tends to smudge with fingerprints, yet that is only a small complaint when you look at the whole product package. Overall, this stick is a 10/10 for me, and I will likely only buy this model in the future!
Got my Obsidian 2 and love it especially the fact a nice bat top is included. Weight is nice and build quality is what I expect. Just have one small gripe about the packaging. Please don't put stickers over the Sanwa buttons, they leave residue and there is no real reason considering the plastic bag over the whole stick. Not enough to knock it down a rating but is worth mentioning
